`Aikahi Military Connection - The `Aikahi Military Connection is designed especially for our military families. We hope that these pages provide answers to questions regarding admission and what to expect on the first day at your new school. We would also like to share cultural information, counseling services, and resources available to our military families. We support you as you transition to our school.

Aloha, Military Families & Students (AMFAS) - This web site has been developed by the School Liaison Offices of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines in Hawaii in cooperation with the Hawaii State Department of Education. It is intended to be an information center for military families enrolling children in Hawaii public schools.

Joint Venture Education Forum (JVEF) - JVEF is comprised of public school educators, and leaders from military commands, government, community and business.

Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) - An official U.S. Marine Corps website for Marine Corps Base Hawaii.

America Supports You - A website to show America's support for our military men and women. The Kids Take Action link has stories and photos of the great things kids, their families, and others are doing to say "thank you" and to help others.

Military Impacted Schools Association - Military Impacted Schools Association (MISA) is a national organization representing school districts that serve high concentrations of military children. The organization works to provide a continuum of quality education for all military children. Formed in 1986, MISA works on funding, legislation, partnerships and programs for military families on the move.

Student Online Achievement Resources (SOAR) - SOAR is an innovative program that makes it easy for parents to play an active role in their children’s education. SOAR is designed for military families, and is easily accessible worldwide.

Students take an assessment aligned to state standards, and SOAR directs them to individualized tutorials to improve skills where needed. Parents can monitor their children’s progress from anywhere, and are provided with resource materials.



Drop Off & Pick Up Reminders

We would like to remind parents and family members of the Aikahi Student Handbook Drop Off and Pick Up Policies and Procedures.

  • No parking in the school parking lot between 7:30 am and  8:00 am.
  • Pull as far forward to the last cafeteria entrance as possible.
  • The inner lane entrance will be coned off in the morning.
  • The school parking lot is a drop off/pick up zone only.
  • Stalls marked "STAFF" are reserved for staff during school hours.
  • For their safety, children must exit the right hand side of vehicle only.
